Terms and Conditions

General disclaimer

Welcome to United Espresso LLC. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, the purchase of our products (including espresso equipment, parts, and roasted coffee), and any technical maintenance or installation services we provide.

By accessing our site, purchasing equipment, or booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General Conditions & Business Eligibility

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or sales to anyone for any reason at any time.

  • Prices for our products and technical services are subject to change without notice.

  • By purchasing equipment or booking technical services, you affirm that you are purchasing for commercial, industrial, or authorized business use, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Equipment Sales & Product Availability

  • Inventory & Pricing: We make every effort to display accurate pricing and availability for commercial espresso machines, grinders, and parts. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price.

  • Condition of Goods: Equipment may be sold as new, refurbished, or used. The specific condition and any associated limited warranties will be explicitly detailed on the individual invoice or product page at the time of purchase.

3. Technical, Installation, and Maintenance Services

  • Service Area: Field service, installations, and preventative maintenance are strictly limited to our designated service areas across the Chicago metropolitan area, Northwest Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin.

  • Site Readiness: For equipment installations, the client is solely responsible for ensuring all utility requirements (dedicated electrical, proper water lines, filtration, and drainage) are fully prepared prior to the technician's arrival. Additional fees may apply if a service visit must be rescheduled due to site unreadiness.

4. Coffee and Perishable Products

  • Freshness & Quality: Our air-roasted coffee products are prepared to order to ensure maximum freshness.

  • Perishable Item Policy: Due to the perishable nature of roasted coffee beans, all coffee sales are final. We cannot accept returns on coffee products unless there was an error on our part in fulfilling the order.

5. Payment Terms & Billing

  • We accept payments via major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and pre-authorized offline business payments (such as wire transfers or approved invoices).

  • For major equipment purchases and large service contracts, a deposit or full upfront payment may be required before inventory is released or service is scheduled.

  • All applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated and added at checkout or detailed on your business invoice.

6. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss

  • Freight Shipping: Large commercial equipment is shipped via freight line. Standard freight delivery is curbside only unless liftgate or inside delivery services are requested and paid for in advance.

  • Damaged Shipments: The buyer must inspect all freight and packages immediately upon delivery. Any physical damage to the packaging or equipment must be noted directly on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing, and reported to us within 24 hours.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • United Espresso LLC shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages—including but not limited to loss of business revenue, profit, or operational downtime—arising out of the use, malfunction, or delayed delivery of purchased equipment, or from the scheduling of maintenance services.

  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of a purchase or service contract shall not exceed the actual amount paid by the customer for that specific product or service.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you products or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any legal actions must be filed in the appropriate court serving Cook County, Illinois.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.
